 2 Kings 14:1-22 (Amaziah King of Judah) Amaziah, King of Judah defeated the Edomites and pride entered his heart and he challenged Jehoash, King of Israel. He did not listened to the warning of Jehoash to glory in his victory and stay at home. So, they fought the battle and he was defeated. He did reigned 15 more years even after Jehoash death but that must have been futile as he was defeated king. He was murdered after a conspiracy happened. He did what was right in the eyes of God like his father Joash but not as much as David.  Doing Good for some time in his life doesn't mean the end will be good. It must be every day moment. Temptation and trials can happen in any form. Pride caused the downfall of Amaziah, king of Judah. Only God can help us live rightfully every moment. 

Naaman healed of leprosy Naaman healing story can be taken from 2kings 5. Out of the many things that we have can learn from this story, it struck to me the greatness of God and the unlimited possibilities of God's creativity and abilities. The skin of an adult possibly more than 45 years of age in respect of the position he holds as a commander to have the skin of that of a young boy. This is one proof that says God can do anything. It is usually how we limit God. We tend to limit God according to the limits of the world and thinks we are asking too much or too great. We are actually underestimating God. We are actually looking down on His Greatness. The greater the works, the greater the miracles, the greater the impact on the lives of the witness or hearers of our story which shows the greatness of our Creator. Let's us not try to limit God. Let's dream. Let's also give God what God deserves. God never ask something we don't have. So, we are never without option...

Joshua10:12-14 On the day the Lord gave the Amorites over to Israel, Joshua said to the Lord in the presence of Israel: “Sun, stand still over Gibeon, and you, moon, over the Valley of Aijalon.”  So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, till the nation avenged itself on its enemies, as it is written in the Book of Jashar. The sun stopped in the middle of the sky and delayed going down about a full day. There has never been a day like it before or since, a day when the Lord listened to a human being . Surely the Lord was fighting for Israel! We, the children of the Lord, when realised who we really are and play our role, are just so powerful. The creation obeys to the children of the Lord, their creator. How we are just so dumb and foolish to be so unhappy, sad. I understand the circumstances anyone could be in but those things doesn't change a single fact that we are like the long lost child of the Lord.
